This body of work is a blend of timeless elegance and contemporary interpretation. Through my lens, I seek to capture the delicate beauty of flowers in still life, and portraiture, drawing inspiration from the Old Master paintings of the past.
Amid the contrast of my floral studies, I probe into the exquisite grace of the female form. Against a black background, I place the focus on women's faces, arms, and hands. By isolating these features, I encourage viewers to explore the intricate narratives etched in their expressions, gestures, and the texture of their skin. Through these portraits, I aim to convey a sense of inner strength, vulnerability, and the richness of human experience.
The flower arrangements and portraits collectively tell a story of perseverance, compassion, hope, and healing in the face of adversity. This photographic series aims to provide a visual and emotional journey that speaks to the complexities of the human struggle and the resilience of the human spirit.
